Payment via Credit Card
When you place an order through our Website, the validity of your credit card is
immediately verified by Authorize.net. We do not capture the
funds from your account until your order has been invoiced and shipped.
Payment via PayPal
When you select PayPal as a payment method at checkout, funds are
immediately transferred from your PayPal account to our PayPal account. We
will contact you immediately should you place an order for goods that we
are unable to ship within seven days of the PayPal transaction to offer
you a refund.
You must call or email us for a Return Authorization Number (RMA)
prior to sending us a return. In most cases, you will be returning the
product directly to a manufacturer or distributor, and they must issue us
an RMA to give to you. We will refuse delivery of any package not clearly
marked with an RA number, and it will be returned to you. We will not
accept the return of any used, scratched, dented, soiled, or damaged items
or items that are not in their original packaging with all component
parts, literature and warranty cards included.
The minimum restocking charge for returned products is $10.00. All
products returned to P2 Marine for credit are subject to inspection and
acceptance by the manufacturer and/or their authorized distributor prior
to issuing a credit. Restocking charges are determined by the
manufacturer and/or their distributor, and range from 0% to 30% of the
value of the product based on the condition of the product and the
manufacturer's and/or distributor's individual return policy. If you
ordered the wrong item, restocking charges are usually waived if you place
an order for the correct item. We will work with you to minimize the
restocking charge, but we reserve the right to pass the cost of
manufacturers' and distributors' restocking charges on to you.
Return of Mis-Shipped Product
Should we or one of our suppliers inadvertently ship you the wrong
item, we will issue a Call Tag for the original carrier to return
the product to us. We will then at your discretion either refund
your entire purchase price including shipping, or ship you the correct
item upon receipt of the goods. If you would like us to ship a
replacement product prior to receiving your return, you must place another
Special Order Returns
Because of the lead time required for delivery of special order items,
we will inform you via email when you place your order that you have ordered a
special order item. Many special order
items are non-returnable and those that are returnable carry restocking
charges equal to or greater than those listed above.
Cut lengths of rope, cut lengths of wire, rigging fabricated to your
specifications, custom-made products, software, electronic charts,
blister-packed products that have been opened, electrical switches,
electrical relays, solenoids, battery monitors, circuit breakers, electric
motors, life rafts, flares,
inflatable PFD's, night vision products and EPIRBS are not returnable.
non-returnable item is defective, we will gladly repair or replace the
item. We will not accept the return of any item that is not in its
original packaging with all manuals, original packing material and
warranty cards in place. We will not accept the return of any used items
or items that are not in their original packaging with all parts, pieces
and literature included.
While we do our best to promptly credit your account for returns,
items that are not in condition for immediate resale (i.e. open boxes)
will be subject to manufacturer inspection prior to issuing you a credit.
Marine Electronic and Electrical items that are returned for credit are
always subject to inspection by the manufacturer and/or distributor prior
to credit being issued for the return. Because the inspection process
takes time, please allow 3-4 weeks from the time we receive your return
for us to credit your account. Also please note that once we have
processed your return and credited your account it can take your credit
card company up to two billing cycles for the credit to appear on your
After 30 days, all sales are final. Should you
experience a problem with any product purchased from us after 30 days, we
will gladly assist you with any applicable warranty claims with the
Warranty claims for products found to be defective after installation
and/or use by the customer are the responsibility of the product
manufacturer. P2 Marine is never responsible for costs
associated with replacement of defective products, including but not
limited to boat hauling, boat storage and
reinstallation labor. Please note that most manufacturers' warranties
specifically exclude these costs also.
All items purchased from P2 Marine, LLC are made pursuant to a
shipment contract. This means that the risk of loss and title for such
items pass to you upon delivery to the carrier. We are unable to initiate
claims for goods damaged in transit. It is your responsibility to initiate
claims for orders damaged during shipment. All claims must be placed with
the carrier within five days of your delivery date. Please open packages
immediately. Retain all damaged packaging for inspection by the carrier.
Cancel Unshipped Items
You can cancel unshipped non-custom items. To do that, send an e-mail
to firstname.lastname@example.org. Include your order number and the part number(s) of
the item(s) you wish to cancel. Orders for custom-made items such as
rigging and spinnaker poles may not be canceled once the order is in
production. These items require various lead times to manufacture, and may
require pre-payment or a non-refundable deposit prior to production.

We are never responsible for payment of any duties, taxes or brokerage
fees charged by carriers for customs clearance when we ship products
outside of the United States. These charges will be collected by the
carrier on delivery. Please note that if you refuse delivery of an
International shipment that you will still be liable for the duties and
brokerage fees because the fees must be paid by the carrier to get the
products out of customs. If you refuse delivery of an International
order you will also be responsible for the cost of both the original
shipping charges and the return shipping charges.
All personal and financial information you provide when ordering products
from P2 Marine, LLC is held in strict confidence, and is encrypted prior
to be transferred through secure Internet connections. We us Authorize.net
as our credit card processing gateway. Because your credit card
information is submitted securely through our server to the Authorize.net
gateway, employees of P2 Marine do not have access too your credit card
information. All the data you provide is transmitted via secure forms that
provide the highest Internet security available. Personal information used
to fulfill your order is encrypted at your browser and then decrypted when
it arrives at P2 Marine, LLC. Our technology safeguards your personal
information, your credit card information and ensures your privacy.
