So, who are we? P2 Marine is owned and managed by Rob Emmet, a lifelong sailor and marine industry veteran with over 40 years of experience. His list of sailing accomplishments is long and includes IOR Maxis and J Class Yachts along with countless offshore miles and a lifetime of one-design racing in Stars, Snipes and Lasers. Rob's career started after college in a boatyard commissioning new boats and repairing old ones. He subsequently got into the sailmaking business where he started out working on the floor building sails and ended up owning his own sail loft and rigging shop in Annapolis. In 1997 Rob started the marine industry's first eCommerce website selling sailboat parts. The business attracted investors and grew quickly. His first eCommerce business sold in 2008 and in 2010 Rob started P2 Marine, where he continues today as the company's primary owner/operator.
